Air Conditioning

Summer in Wyoming
shouldn’t be miserable!

If you’ve had your fill of noisy window A/C units
or those sweaty swamp coolers—
let’s talk about a cooling system upgrade!

We serve Cheyenne, Laramie, Pine Bluffs, Burns,
Wheatland, Torrington and the surrounding areas.

What’s the difference between whole house A/C and ductless mini-splits?

Whole House A/C (a.k.a. central air)

The ultimate in home cooling, whole house units evenly cool down every room in your house. Today’s cooling systems are incredibly efficient, very quiet, and can even lower your summer energy bills when used in conjunction with a programmable thermostat. If you’ve already got a forced-air heating system, you’re halfway there. Our cooling systems attach to your existing furnace and require a condensing unit to be installed on a concrete pad outside. Occasionally, some modifications are required to improve efficiency, seal leaks, or add registers to allow for maximum comfort.

Ductless Mini-Splits

Generally, a ductless mini-split air conditioner is best suited for older/historic homes without the room to add ductwork for central air; for homes without existing ductwork; and in homes where people are primarily interested in cooling certain rooms/zones, rather than the entire house. You can run multi-zone indoor units off one outdoor unit! A ductless mini-split air conditioner is very low maintenance and energy efficient; it doesn’t take up much space; and it’s very quiet. It also offers room-by-room control over temperature, usually via remote control.

Still not sure which option is best for your home?

Our Wyoming HVAC experts can quickly and efficiently evaluate your home, then help you decide whether a ductless mini-split air conditioner or central air conditioning is the right choice for you.

How much do cooling systems cost?

There isn’t a “one size fits all “with home cooling. On average, residential A/C installation ranges between $3,000-$6,000, depending on your home’s square footage, electrical needs, and current ducting setup.
